ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's tennis team defeated Oswego, 7-0 in the season-opener, Saturday.
 
DOUBLES:

• Junior Emily Greb and first-year Tina Dong beat Emily DeLuca and Leah Bell 6-2 at first doubles.
• First year Kai Wells and junior Melanie Saborio were 6-2 winners over Kate Hayes and Isabella Eason at second doubles.

 
SINGLES:

• Greb defeated Avery Borman 6-0, 6-1 at first singles and Dong was a 6-4, 6-1 winner over Bell at second singles.
• Saborio beat DeLuca 6-0, 6-1 at third singles and first year Kai Wells beat Eason in straight sets at fourth singles.
• Sophomore Amulya Settyvari beat Hayes 6-1, 6-4 at fifth singles and first year Sona Hanumali beat Alexis Christian 6-1, 6-1 at sixth singles.
