ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT junior
Tyler Hulse finished an All-American seventh in the high jump at the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, Saturday.
Hulse entered the championship ranked 17th, but improved 10 spots after leaping 2.03m/6' 7.75". He cleared his opening height of 1.92m on his first attempt, before clearing 1.97m on his third attempt. Hulse was then one of seven individuals to clear 2.03m, getting over on his first attempt to guarantee All-America status.
St. John Fisher's Kyle Rollins won the event with a 2.12m/6' 11" performance.
RIT senior
Nick John also participated in Friday' pole vault event, placing 11th with a 4.75m/15' 7" effort.
