ROCHESTER, NY – Sophomore Kevin Ryan and freshman Brock Bowen each scored 18 points in RIT's (7-11, 5-7 Liberty League) 77-68 loss to St. Lawrence Saturday. The Saints outscored the Tigers 50-35 in the second half.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• RIT led 33-27 at the half, shooting 13-of-32 from the floor.
• Sophomore Matt Caggiano gave RIT a 20-8 lead on his three-pointer with 11:09 to play in the opening half.
• St. Lawrence's Andy Downs score with 26 seconds to play in the half to cut the RIT halftime lead to six points.
• Sophomore Kenny Wilburn, Ryan and Bowen led the Tigers with six points apiece.
• Ryan scored off a Keegan Ocorr assist early in the second half that gave RIT a 47-38 lead.
• Bowen drained a three-pointer with 8:49 to play to give the Tigers a 57-50 lead.
• Will Engelhardt gave the Saints a 61-60 lead on his bucket with 4:01 to play.
• The Saints ran off 12 straight points, taking a 72-60 lead on a pair of Luke Hicks free throws with 48 seconds to play.

 
GAME NOTES

• RIT shot 26-of-57 from the floor, including 10-of-27 from beyond the arc.
• Ryan shot 7-of-9 from the floor, and 4-for-4 from the foul line.
• Wilburn led RIT with nine rebounds, while Bowen finished with seven assists and five rebounds.
• Engelhardt scored 18 points to lead St. Lawrence.
