SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Sophomore Kevin Ryan scored 22 points in RIT's (7-12, 5-8 Liberty League) 73-58 loss at Union Monday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• RIT trailed 39-15 at halftime, shooting 6-of-24 from the floor.
• Ryan scored early in the first half to give the Tigers a 6-5 lead.
• Union went on a 21-5 run, taking a 26-11 lead on Chris Lovisolo basket with 5:21 to play in the half.
• Ryan led the Tigers with 10 first-half points on 4-of-6 shooting.
• RIT outscored Union 43-34 in the second half, shooting 18-of-35 from the floor.
• Ryan scored 12 of his 22 points in the second half.

 
GAME NOTES

• Ryan shot 9-of-12 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the foul line.
• Freshman Andrew Fox eight points and eight rebounds off the bench for RIT.
• Mike Manley led Union with 23 points.
