Henretta scores 20 points to lead Women's Basketball to 78-50 win over Bard

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Senior Sarah Henretta scored a career-high 20 points to lead RIT (12-11, 9-9 Liberty League) to a 78-50 win over Bard (1-22, 0-18 Liberty League) on Senior Day. The Tigers honored Henretta and fellow seniors Addy Flood, Alyssa Juergens and Taylor Signor prior to the game.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • RIT led 44-27 at halftime, shooting 17-of-32 from the floor and 7-of-16 from beyond the arc.
  • Senior Sarah Henretta scored 11 of her team-high 14 points in the first quarter, shooting 4-of-8 from beyond the three-point line.
  • Junior Kaleesha Joseph shot 4-of-4 from the floor and 3-of-4 from the foul line for 11 points.
  • Bard's Christina Kiser scored 11 points to pace Bard.
  • RIT outscored Bard 34-23 in the second half, holding the Raptors to eight points in the third quarter.
 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT shot 28-of-62 from the floor, including 11-of-34 from beyond the arc.
  • Henretta shot 7-of-13 from the floor, including 6-of-10 from three-point land.
  • Senior Alyssa Juergens tallied 12 points on 5-of-8 from the floor.
