ROCHESTER, NY – RIT senior forward Kevin Ryan scored 18 points in the Tigers 79-58 loss to Nazareth in the opening game of the 2022 Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout, Thursday.
 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nazareth's Logan Blankenberg converted an old-fashioned three-point play five minutes into the game to give the Golden Flyers an 11-4 lead.
• Junior guard Mark Osime cut the Nazareth lead to five points on his layup with 13:44 remaining.
• Nazareth outscored the Tigers 34-10 over the final 14 minutes of the opening half to lead 45-26 at the break.
• Ryan and sophomore forward Andrew Fox each scored eight points to lead the Tigers in the second half.

 
GAME NOTES

• RIT shot 44.4 percent from the floor on 25-of-54 shooting.
• The Tigers made 2-of-8 from beyond the arc.
• Nazareth outrebounded RIT, 40-30.
• Fox finished with 12 points and six rebounds.
