ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT sophomore forward Evan Miller was named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week, Monday. 

Miller scored his first goal in a Tiger uniform and added an assist in Saturday's season-opening 4-3 setback at Union.

Miller returned to the ice for the first time after having all but two games of his first campaign with the Tigers cut short due to injury last season. 

RIT opens the home portion of the 2022-23 schedule hosting Atlantic Hockey-rival Army this Friday and Saturday (Oct. 7-8). Face-offs are set for 7:05 p.m. and 5:05 p.m., respectively at the Gene Polisseni Center.
