ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT freshman forward Carter Wilkie was voted the Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week, Monday, marking the fourth time during the first six weeks of the season he has garnered the award.

Wilkie tipped home the game-winning goal with 3:43 left in overtime to lead the Tigers to a 3-2 victory at AIC, Sunday afternoon. He also assisted the Tigers' second goal, which tied the game, 2-2, with 12:33 left in the second period. 

Wilkie leads all Atlantic Hockey newcomers and is tied for sixth nationally with eight points on four goals and four assists. 

RIT (5-3-2, 3-1-2 AHA) plays two Atlantic Hockey games at Canisius next Friday and Saturday (Nov. 12-13). Face-offs are scheduled for 6:05 p.m. and 4:05 p.m., respectively.
