Women's basketball loses at home to St. Lawrence Saturday

ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT (10-11, 7-7 Liberty League) women's basketball team was defeated 62-35 at home to St. Lawrence University (15-6, 11-3 Liberty League) in Liberty League action from Clark Gym Saturday afternoon.

RIT shot 16.4 percent from the floor on 12-of-73 shooting. The Tigers made just one three-pointer, and went 10-of-18 from the foul line. Brooke Stanley (Minnetonka, MN/Benilde-St. Margaret's) led RIT with 15 points. Sabrina Wolfe (Troy, NY/Troy) tallied eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Katie Frederick led St. Lawrence with 32 points on 15-of-17 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds. Olivia Barringer tallied 10 points and had eight rebounds for the Saints who shot 46.2 percent from the floor.

RIT returns to action on Friday, Feb. 14, when the Tigers face Bard College in Liberty League at 5:30 p.m. from Annondale-on-Hudson, N.Y.
