ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT (6-13, 3-9 Liberty League) men's basketball team was defeated 88-50 by Ithaca College (14-5, 9-3 Liberty League) in Liberty League action from Clark Gym Tuesday evening.

RIT shot 29.0 percent from the floor on 18-of-62 shooting. The Tigers made just 3-of-21 from beyond the arc, and went 11-of-14 from the foul line. Cobey Adekanbi (Bloomfield, CT/Loomis Chafee) and Chirs Mattair with seven points apiece. Keegan Ocorr (Fairport, NY/Charles Finney) finished with nine rebounds.

Sebastian Alderete led Ithaca with 18 points. Cooper Macklin tallied 20 points off the bench, while Skylar Sinon and Liam Spellman each grabbed eight rebounds.

RIT returns to action on Friday, Feb. 7, when the Tigers host Clarkson University at 7:30 p.m. from Clark Gymnaisum.
