ANNONDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY -- The RIT (8-14, 5-10 Liberty League) men's basketball team defeated Bard College (0-21, 0-15 Liberty League) 79-66 in Liberty League action from the Stevenson Athletic Center Friday evening.

RIT shot 48.3 percent from the floor on 29-of-60 shooting. The Tigers made 9-of-23 from beyond the arc, and went 12-of-15 from the foul line. Keegan Ocorr (Fairport, NY/Charles Finney) was one of four Tigers to score in double figures, finishing with 20 points. Curtis Nesbit (Woodbridge, NJ/Woodbridge) tallied 16 points, Kevin Ryan (Rochester, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) finished with 15 points, while Cobey Adekanbi (Bloomfield, CT/Loomis Chafee) chipped in 11 points for the Tigers. Michael Young (Brookly, NY/Nazareth Regional) grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.

Stamatis Koulouris led Bard with 18 points and six rebounds. Stefanos Psarras tallied 15 points, while Kevin Le finished with 12 points for the Raptors who shot 41.3 percent from the floor.

Bard tied the score in the second half, and took a 51-48 lead on a Koulouris bucket early in the half. Adekanbi gave the Tigers a 58-51 lead on his bucket with 10:25 to play. Chuck Okehie (Owings Mills, MD/The McDonough School) gave the Tigers a 67-57 lead, while a pair of late Young free throws made it a 79-66 final.

RIT returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 15, when the Tigers  face Rensselaer at 4 p.m. from Troy, N.Y.
