ITHACA, NY -- The RIT (4-8, 1-4 Liberty League) men's basketball team lost 91-61 at Ithaca College (8-3, 4-1 Liberty League) Tuesday evening in Liberty League action from Ben Light Gymnasium.
RIT shot 30.6 percent from the floor on 22-of-72 shooting. The Tigers went just 3-of-20 from beyond the arc, and made 14-of-23 free throws. First-years
Jake Gugula (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) and
Kevin Ryan (Rochester, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) led RIT with 10 and 11 points, respectively.
Curtis Nesbit (Woodbridge, NJ/Woodbridge) finished with nine points, while
Cobey Adekanbi (Bloomfield, CT/Loomis Chafee) finished with eight points and six rebounds.
Sebastian Alderete was one of four Bombers to score in double-figures, finishing with a game-high 27 points.
RIT returns to action on Friday, Jan. 17, when the Tigers host Rensselaer at 7:30 p.m. from Clark Gymnaisum.
