Women's swimming and diving sets two pool records in win at Alfred Universitty

ALFRED, NY -- The RIT (2-0 women's swimming and diving team won its 12th straight dual meet with a 216-71 win at Alfred University Saturday afternoon. RIT set two pool records in the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard breaststroke.

RIT began the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay. The team of Mililani Rosare (Campbell, CA/Westmont), Sam Russell (Fredon, NJ/Kittatinny Regional), KhaVy Sangasy (Brockport, NY/Brockport) and Sydney Burgard (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) won the event in a pool-record time of 1:53.08. Sangasy set the pool record in the 200-yard breaststroke 2:21.71.

RIT returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at SUNY Oswego beginning at 6 p.m. in Oswego, N.Y.
