ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY -- The RIT (9-3, 2-2 Liberty League) women's basketball team set a team record for largest margin of victory with a 95-29 win at Bard College (0-10, 0-2 Liberty League) on Saturday afternoon. All 14 active players saw action, while all but one Tiger scored at least four points. The 95 points scored by RIT is two points of the school record of 97 set in 2009 and 2015.
RIT shot 55.9 percent from the floor on 38-of-68 shooting. The Tigers went 13-of-22 from behind the arc, and were 6-of-9 from the foul line.
Jessica Glaz (Rockaway Beach, NY/Scholars Academy) led the Tigers with 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting.
Taylor Burns (Rochester, NY/Greece Odyssey) added 10 points, while
Whitney Kent (Hinsdale, NY/Cuba-Rushford),

RIT led 28-10 after the first quarter, 49-15 at halftime and outscored the Raptors 46-14 in the second half to secure the win. The 29 points allowed is the fewest allowed by the Tigers this season, and was just eight points shy of the fewest points allowed (21) in program history.
The Tigers were sound defensively, holding the Raptors to 23.9 percent shooting. RIT forced Bard into 22 turnovers, tallying 37 points off of Raptors turnovers. The Tigers dominated on the boards, out-rebounding the Raptors 43-25. RIT scored 30 of its 95 points in the paint.
"We focused a lot on our defensive effort today," said RIT head coach
