BROCKPORT, NY – The RIT wrestling team (3-11) fell on the road to local foe The College at Brockport (3-0) 54-0 on Wednesday night.
The Golden Eagles dominated in the match, winning six of the 10 bouts by way of pin, including Asher Kramer, the No. 8 wrestler in the country, pinning
Andrew Flanagan (Holley, NY/Holley) in 3:47 at 125 lbs.
Jake Sepor (Stafford, NY/Pavilion) fought valiantly at 141 pounds, but came up just short in a decision to Sean O'Hagan, 11-8. At 157 pounds,
Kirkland Feeney (Lockport, NY/Lockport) got a few points breaking out of the downed position, but fell in a decision to Josh Brabon, 9-4. Brockport also received forfeits at 184- and 197 pounds to complete the scoring.
The Tigers will hit the road this Sunday, Jan. 31, to take on The University of Scranton, Wilkes University, and West Virginia University Institute of Technology in dual matches from Scranton.
