Biography

2017-18: Served as one of RIT’s two captains … competed in 28 bouts at 149 lbs. … won 12 matches overall and finished 5-4 in dual competition … won three matches by pin and two by major decision … earned three victories, including one by fall at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational … picked up a pair of victories at both the New York State Championships and RIT Invitational … competed at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships.

2016-17: Competed in 10 bouts at 285 lbs. … went 3-7 overall and 0-1 in dual matches … won twice by pins and once by technical fall.

2015-16: Won four bouts at 141 lbs. … scored one pin, with one major decision … won his first collegiate match, a 4-3 decision against Zach Morris of Norrish in the Ithaca Invitational … only pin was in 31 seconds, against DJ Tirelli of No. 14 Johnson and Wales.

Before RIT: Played football, lacrosse and wrestled at Westhill High School ... given coaches award in all three sports ... wrestling team captain senior year .... three-time wrestling Section III qualifier ... took fourth place at 126 lbs. junior year.
