ROCHESTER, NY - Sophomore Nicholas Greenquist (Spring Lake, NJ/St. Rose) of the RIT wrestling team, was named the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference (ECWC) Wrestler of the Week on Tuesday, for the week ending Feb. 16, 2014. It is Greenquist's first weekly honor.

Greenquist, who placed third at the ECWC Championships at 174 pounds in January, moved down to 165 pounds for the upcoming regionals and started that run by posting a 7-2 win over Oneonta's Shaun Gillen, who is listed in the contender portion of the d3wrestle.com rankings. Greenquist improves to 17-7 this season.

The Tigers will compete at the Si Ostrach Meet in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, February 22 beginning at 12 p.m. RIT will compete against Thiel, Muskingum, and Case Western Reserve.
