CLINTON, NY -- Senior center #
Courtney Tennant (Cortland, NY/Cortland)# scored 18 points, becoming the sixth player in history of the program to score 1,000 career points as the RIT (4-5) women's basketball team was defeated 77-52 at Hamilton College (6-4) in non-conference action from Scott Field House on Saturday afternoon.
Tennant scored her 1,000th point on a free throw with 3:47 to play in the second half, placing her sixth all time on RIT's career scoring list. She was 7-of-15 shooting from the floor, and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe. She grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out three assists, added a block and a steal.
The Tigers shot 30.3 percent from the floor on 20-of-66 shooting. RIT went 3-for-9 from behind the arc, and were 9-of-16 from the foul line, holding a slight 40-39 rebounding edge.

Jess Kramer (Fayetteville, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt)# scored eight points, while freshman guard #
Julia Bender (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas)# scored 10 points off the bench for RIT.
Hamilton shot 50 percent from the floor on 28-of-56 shooting. The Continentals were 12-of-25 from behind the arc, and went 9-of-12 from the foul line.
Samantha Graber led Hamilton with 29 points and nine rebounds. Dani Feigin added 20 points, while Serena Ward scored 14 and dished out four assists.
RIT led early, but trailed 50-26 at the half and never recovered.
The Tigers return to action on Tuesday, January 7, at Keuka College at 8 p.m.
