ROCHESTER, NY -
The RIT men's hockey team wraps up the month of November by hosting the Clarkson Golden Knights in a non-league contest at Ritter Arena on Friday, November 23 at 7:05 p.m.  Austin Spencer Collision is the game sponsor. The contest is officially sold out.

RIT (2-7-2, 1-4-2 AHA) is looking for its first win of the season at Ritter Arena and hopes to snap a four-game winless streak. Last weekend, the Tigers picked up one point in two road contests at Holy Cross, losing 7-3 on Saturday, while rebounding to record a 3-3 tie on Sunday. Adam Mitchell (Crofton, MD/Baystate Breakers) and Jeff Smith (Spokane, WA/Tri-City Storm) both lead the team in scoring with six goals. Mitchell has a team-best 13 points, while Smith is right behind with 11. Defenseman Greg Noyes (Lucan, Ontario/Salmon Arm Silverbacks) is tied for third among all Division I defensemen in scoring with 10 points, while captain Chris Saracino (St. Louis, MO/Green Bay Gamblers) has nine points. In net, Josh Watson (Lititz, PA/Powell River Kings) is 2-3-1 with a 3.31 goals against average and .893 save percentage.

Clarkson (2-5-4, 2-1-1 ECAC) enters Friday's game with a 2-1-4 mark in its last seven games after starting the season with four straight losses. Last time out, the Golden Knights split a pair of ECAC home contests, losing to Quinnipiac, 5-2 last Friday, before rebounding to defeat Princeton, 7-2 the following evening. Allan McPherson had a goal and three assists to lead the Golden Knights in the win over Princeton. McPherson leads the squad in scoring with 13 points (3-10-13) in 11 games. Jarrett Burton leads the team with six goals, while Ben Sexton has 10 points. In net, Greg Lewis is 2-4-3 with a 2.86 goals against average and .897 save percentage.

Friday game will be aired live on Time Warner Cable Sports channel 26 or 1026 for high definition subscribers, with Gene Battaglia and John DiTullio bringing you the action. In addition, the game will be broadcast over the airwaves on WITR 89.7 FM and witr.rit.edu.  There will also be live stats and online live video.
