ROCHESTER, NY - The RIT women's swimming and diving squad rolled to a 150-83 season-opening win over Oswego State on Wednesday evening at Judson Pool. The Tigers won nine events on the evening.

Caitlin Foster (Bath, ME/Morse) and
Jocelyn Bade (Gananda, NY/Gananda)# finished first and second respectively in both the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle. Foster won the 500-free in 5:41.98, while Bade was just under 13 seconds left. In the 1,000-free, Foster was victorious in 11:47.97, while Bade was 19 seconds back in second.
RIT swept the top three places in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. #
Sam Huselstein (Olean, NY/Olean) was first in each event. She won the 1-meter with a score of 207.85 and the 3-meter with a score of 196.45. (Rockville, MD/Rockville)Katie Hardy ( Clarence, NY/Clarence) and
Nicky Rosenberg (Middleton, WI/Middleton)# were both second and third, respectively, in each event.

Katie Baldwin (Phelps, NY/Midlakes)# was also a dual winner for RIT, taking both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle. She won the 50-free in a time of 24.78 seconds, then took the 100-free by just under two seconds in 55.71.

Jenna Hoffman (Rochester, NY/Greece Athena)# won a pair of races for the Tigers, annexing the 200-free over teammate #
Kelsey Schaefer (Berea, OH/Berea)# in 2:08.40, then took the 100-yard backstroke by three seconds in 1:03.61.

Colleen Manning (Farmingdale, NY/St. Anthony's) and Jill Sirkis# placed first and second in the 200-yard individual medley. Manning was first by 79 one-hundredths of a second in 2:23.03.
The Tigers are right back in action on Saturday at Fredonia State. The meet begins at 1 p.m.
