GENEVA, NY -- The RIT women's swimming and diving team (3-5) picked up its third dual win of the season, defeating host William Smith, 130-109 on Wednesday evening. The Tigers won both relay events and six individual events on the evening.

Sam Huselstein (Olean, NY/Olean)# won both diving events for the Tigers. She took the 1-meter diving event with a score of 182.05 and won the 3-meter with a score of 198.25. She was RIT's lone double winner in singlew events.

Katie Baldwin (Phelps, NY/Midlakes)# was victorious in the 50-yard freestyle by nearly a second in 25.65 seconds. She was second in the 100-free with a time of 55.38 seconds, eight one-hundredths of a second away from victory.

Caitlin Foster (Bath, ME/Morse)# won the 1,000-yard freestyle by just under seconds in 11:40.98, while
Jill Sirkis (Fairless Hills, PA/Pennsbury) was victorious in the 100-fly in 1:03.31. Senior #
Melissa Harrison (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley)# annexed the 100-backstroke by 12 one-hundredths of a second in 1:04.80

Kate Macken (Gering, NE/Gering)# opened the evening with a win in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:56.87. #

Kelsey Schaefer (Berea, OH/Berea)#, and Foster clinched the team win for RIT by taking the 200-yard freestyle relay by four seconds in 1:46.54.
RIT recorded five second place finishes as well, led by Foster, who was runner-up in the 500-free (5:36.77) and Manning, who was second in the 200-free. Sirkis was second in the 200-individual medley, while Macken placed second in the 100-breaststroke.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, as they host the University of Rochester in a dual meet at 1 p.m.
