After a pair of Nazareth goals built the lead to 5-1, the Tigers rattled off three straight goals, pulling the score to 6-4 on a Vakiener free-position goal with 8:50 remaining in the half. She had two goals in the run, while #Tina Podrasky (Scranton, PA/Wyoming Seminary)# added the other.

The Golden Flyers closed out the half with two straight goals, including a goal by Chelsey Amidon with :20 remaining in the half to make it a 7-4 halftime deficit for the Tigers.
