CANTON, NY -- The RIT (0-3) women's swimming and diving team was defeated by St. Lawrence 140-99 in Liberty League action from Canton, N.Y. on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman diver
Sam Huselstein won both the one-meter and three-meter diving events for the Tigers. She won the one-meter event with a score of 180.10, and took first place in the three-meter event with a final score of 191.50.
The team of
Colleen Manning, Jilliam Sirkis,
Mariah Lamb and
Katie Baldwin won the 400-yard freestyle relay in a time of 3:54.12. Manning also won the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:18.81, while Sirkis won the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 2:23.71.
Freshman
Caitlin Foster was second in the 1,000-yard freestyle, finishing in a time of 11:30.35. Manning took home a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:06.18, while Baldwin was second in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 26.10.
The Tigers are off until December 2 when they will compete at the Liberty League Championships.
