ROCHESTER, NY -- Sophomore forward Rachael Bromson (Suffield, CT/Suffield) of the RIT women's soccer team was named Liberty League Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 16, 2011. It is the second time she has earned weekly honors.

Bromson helped RIT to a 2-0 record last week tallying seven points on two goals and an assist. The sophomore forward scored two goals and added an assist in a 3-1 win at Vassar on Friday. She followed that up with a goal in a 2-1 win over Bard on Saturday. She leads the team in scoring with 22 points and goals with nine. Her nine goals this season are 10th all-time at RIT and she is ninth all-time with 22 points.

The Tigers are off until Saturday, Oct. 22 when the Tigers host Liberty League foe St. Lawrence University at 3 pm on RIT Field.
