SYRACUSE, NY -- The RIT women's swimming and diving team (3-5) participated in a three-team meet at SUNY Geneseo on Friday and Saturday. The Tigers fell to SUNY Geneseo, 313-43, and SUNY New Paltz, 272-68.

The 200 yard freestyle relay team of Brittany Schlunt (Santa Cruz, CA/Harbor), Mariah Lamb (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa), Courtney Schwarting (Burnt Hills, NY/Burnt Hills Ballston Lake ), and Katie Baldwin (Phelps, NY/Midlakes) finished third with a time of 1:46.75.

Baldwin took home third in the 50-yard freestyle (0:26.02) and fourth in the 100-yard freestyle (0:56.62). Melissa Harrison (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) finished fourth in the 400-yard individual medley in a time of 4:59.49.

RIT returns to action Saturday, January 22 as they travel to LeMoyne in Syracuse, New York. The meet gets underway at 1 p.m.
