The Tigers trailed 48-37 with 2:08 to play in regulation, outscoring the Golden Flyers 12-3 over that span and nearly sent the game into overtime on Tennat's three pointer at the buzzer.

Leslie Havens (Wayland, NY/Wayland-Cohocton)#, who scored 12 of her 14 points in the second half, tallied seven of the Tigers 12 points down the stretch, including five in a row to start the rally.
Trailing by one at the half, RIT opened the second half on an 11-4 run, taking a four point lead on a three pointer by Havens. Tennant, who finished with a game-high 19 points, sparked the RIT run, scoring six of the Tigers 11 points.
Nazareth answered back with a 22-7 run over a 13-plus minute span in the second half to build their 11 point lead.
RIT shot 24.6% from the floor on 14-of-57 shooting. The Tigers made four three pointers and were 17-of-23 from the foul line, including 12-of-15 in the first half. The Tigers out-rebounded Nazareth 49-43.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, January 14 when RIT hosts Utica College. Tip-off at Clark Gymnasium is at 6 pm.
