ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's lacrosse had their three-game winning streak snapped with a 14-11 loss to SUNY Brockport on Saturday afternoon. The loss drops RIT to 6-2 on the season while Brockport improves to 3-2.
The game was tied 8-8 at the half, but the Golden Eagles out scored the Tigers 6-3 in the second half including six straight.
RIT out shot Brockport 33-28, but the Golden Eagles won the ground ball battle 27-26. RIT had 17 draw controls and were 14-of-15 on clearing attempts.

The Tigers will host Empire 8 rival Nazareth College on Tuesday afternoon at 4 pm on RIT's Turf Field.
