POTSDAM, NY -- The RIT women's volleyball team defeated Elizabethtown 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 25-15) in their first match at the Clarkson Tournament on Friday. The win improves the Tigers to 17-6 on the season.

Senior Jessica Schaffer (Wellington, OH/Keystone) led the offensive attack with 16 kills. She hit .293 for the match and added four digs, and an assisted block.

Sophomore setter Christina Worth (Valencia, CA/Valencia) added 33 assists, four kills, four service aces, seven digs and two assisted blocks.

Katie Cooper (New Canaan, CT/New Canaan) added five kils, four service aces, six digs and two assisted blocks. Megan Henriksen (Silver Spring, MD/Our Lady of Good Counsel) had 12 digs for the Tigers.

RIT will face host Clarkson at 7:30 pm on Friday.
