ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT women's swimming and diving team fell to SUNY Fredonia 218.5-74.5 on Saturday afternoon.  Courtney Schwarting (Burnt Hills, NY/Burnt Hills Ballston Lake ) was RIT's lone winner on the afternoon, taking the 200-yard freestyle in 2:05.23.

Molly Woods (Avon, CT/Avon) was second in both the 100- and 200-yard butterfly events.  She finished with a time of 1:04.27 in the 100-fly and raced the 200-fly in 2:26.03.

Melissa Harrison (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) placed second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:24.88.

RIT returns home to face Alfred at Judson Pool on Friday, Nov. 5 at 4 p.m..
