ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's swimming and diving team was defeated by the University of Rochester, 191-107 this afternoon at the Judson Pool. Senior Caitlyn Burr (Delhi, NY/Delaware Academy) picked up wins in three individual events for the Tigers.

Burr picked up her first win of the afternoon in the 200-yard butterfly posting a winning time of 2:09.43. She won the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 58.76, and won the 200-yard IM in a time of 2:10.46.

Cat Jones (Eden, NY/Eden) was victorious in the one-meter diving competition, posting a winning score of 205.55 points. The senior was second in the three-meter competition with a score of 209.45.

Jenna Hoffman (Rochester, NY/Greece Athena) picked up second place finishes in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke and Kerzia Hopson (Norwich, NY/Norwich) brought home a second place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.

The Tigers are off until Thursday, January 7 versus SUNY Brockport.
