GENESEO, NY - The RIT volleyball team (13-14) won for the fourth time in five matches after sweeping SUNY Geneseo (5-16) in three games on Tuesday evening at the Carl Schrader Gymnasium. The Tigers won by scores 25-22, 25-20, 25-22.

Vic Petko (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) (East Amherst, NY/Clarence) slammed 11 kills to go along with seven blocks in the win for RIT.
Nichole Boxler (Varysburg, NY/Attica) (Varysburg, NY/Attica) dished out 31 assists and added 11 digs, while.
Megan Henriksen (Silver Spring, MD/Our Lady of Good Counsel) (Silver Spring, MD/Our Lady of Good Counsel) chipped in with a team-best 15 digs.
SUNY Geneseo received nine kills from first year Kat Strickland and senior Ashley Saltzman contributed 16 assists. Junior Jess McKenna contributed 17 digs and junior Jessie Stephenson netted eight kills.
RIT is back in action on Friday and Saturday at the NYU Invitational. The Tigers open play against SUNY New Paltz at 6 p.m. and NYU at 8 p.m., Friday.
