Griggs shined both throwing events this weekend at the ECAC Championships. Griggs’ second-place, 13.34m (43’9.25”) throw in the shot put places her at #10 on the NCAA 2005 performance list. This is comfortable position for qualifying for the NCAA Championships next week. Griggs placed second in the weight throw, an event that she has already qualified for NCAAs in, with a throw of 15.70m (51’6.25”).
