Murphy averaged 23.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in two RIT wins. He tallied 27 points on 11-of-18 shooting and added 10 rebounds in a 77-60 victory over Elmira. Murphy scored 20 points, hitting 8-of-13 from the floor in a 63-60 win over Ithaca. For the week, he shot 61 percent from the field. Earlier in the week, Murphy was named to the 2005 ESPN The Magazine First Team College Division Academic All-America Team.
