Senior Jennie Nicholas scored the game winning goal in RIT's 4-2 win in the quarterfinal round of the ECAC East Playoffs against Union College . RIT was looking to avenge this years two previous losses to the Dutchwomen.

At 14:58 in the third period, Elizabeth Flannigan was called on a hooking penalty, setting up the power-play goal by Nicholas with assists from Jen Gorczynski and Meghan Erickson at 15:16.

The Tigers advance to the semifinals and will play Manhattanville at 12:30 p.m. at the Playland Ice Casino in Rye, N.Y. RIT is the only team to have defeated the Valiants this season, with a 3-2 overtime win on February 9th. If the Tigers win they will play on Sunday in the Championship game at the Playland Casino at 2 p.m.
