The RIT Women’s Hockey team faced RPI twice in last week’s play. In these two matches, the Tigers were lost 1-0 and won 3-2, respectively.
Junior defenseman Jen Gorczynski (Rochester, N.Y./Greece-Arcadia) had one goal and one assist over the two-game span. Gorczynski is currently fourth most scoring women’s hockey athlete in RIT history. She currently has 22 points at the midpoint in the season.
Gorczynski scored an emotional goal in the 3-2 victory which gave the Tigers the lead early in the game and the Tigers never looked back.
The Tigers resume action on Jan 10 and 11 against Saint Michael’s College.
