Clayton was named to the CHA Championship All-Tournament Team after recording a goal and an assist over the weekend, leading RIT to its second straight league title. On Friday, Clayton scored a goal and added an assist and was plus-2, while shutting down Mercyhurst’s top line of CHA Player of the Year Emily Janiga, Jenna Dingledein, and Sarah Robello in the 4-1 win over the top-seed Lakers. On Saturday, Clayton did masterful defensive work on Syracuse’s top two lines in the 2-1 double overtime win over the No. 2 seed Orange. Clayton has eight points on three goals and five assists in 26 games this season.
