Binnington was tremendous over the weekend, stopping 61 of 62 shots, as RIT swept Robert Morris in the CHA First Round, winning by scores of 3-1 and 1-0. On Friday, Binnington stopped 30-of-31 shots in a 3-1 victory and on Saturday, stopped all 31 shots she faced for her school record 19th career shutout in the 1-0 win. Binnington has allowed just one goal over her last three starts and is 10-10-3 this season with a 1.78 goals against average and .936 save percentage. The senior goaltender has been incredible in the postseason in her RIT career, going 9-1 in 10 starts with a microscopic 0.92 goals against average and .969 save percentage, recording three shutouts.
