Former RIT volleyball player Reagan Burns begins her fifth year as an assistant coach for the Tigers.

Burns, who graduated from RIT in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, played three seasons of volleyball for the Tigers. While at RIT, Burns helped lead RIT to an 83-34 record and back-to-back ECAC Championships. She played in 26 games over three seasons as a defensive specialist, recording 39 digs.

Before returning to RIT, Burns spent the 2009 season as the head coach for the junior varsity at Bishop Kearney High School. She also served as an assistant coach for the Crossroads Volleyball Club for the top 18 and under team.

A native of Ithaca, N.Y., Burns played high school volleyball for Lansing High School. She earned All-Interscholastic Athletic Conference honors, while leading Lansing to a league title in 2003.

Burns is the owner of Lime Creative, a company that specializes in branding and advertising for small to medium size businesses. She resides in Rochester.
