2025-26
• Hobey Baker Award Nominee
• Tied for sixth with 11 assists while totaling 14 points in 35 games during firs season with the Tigers
• Also finished third on the team with 32 blocked shots
• Assist and career-high three blocked shots in 6-2 victory over Clarkson (Oct. 18) in Brick City Homecoming victory
• First goal in a Tiger sweater during 2-1 win at Robert Morris (Nov. 14)
• Also logged an assist during the 3-2 win vs. the Colonials the following day (Nov. 15) to extend season-long four-game point streak
• Goal and an assist in 7-3 setback at No. 8 Penn State (Jan. 4)
• Career-highs of three points (1G/2A) and three blocked shots in 4-1 win over Robert Morris (Jan. 9)
• Also had an assist and two blocked shots in 3-2 OT win the following night (Jan. 10)

BEFORE RIT
• Drafted in the second round (49th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators
• Spent two seasons (2023-25) playing at St. Mary’s University in Nova Scotia, compiling 26 points (6G/20A) in 50 appearances; was also Academic All-Canadian in 2023
• Played previous five seasons in the OHL for the London Knights and the Kingston Frontenacs
• Made 54 appearances with the Knights from 2019-22, including two seasons as alternate captain, before playing 86 games with the Frontenacs in 2022-23.

• Benjamin Robert Roger was born in Markham, Ont.
• Son of Christine and Steve Roger
• Has a younger sister, Sarah, who plays hockey at Colgate University
• Best advice he’s received, “Control the controllables. There are a lot of things in sports you can’t control, but you can always control your effort, mindset and attitude.”
• Credits his dad for having the most influence on his playing career because, “he’s been with me every step of the way and has never stopped encouraging and pushing me to be the best I can be.”
• Started playing hockey at three years old
• Fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar
• Majoring in finance
