Biography

2004-05 Season: Played in all 25 games … started Tigers final 13 games of the year … led RIT in free-throw shooting, making 79.1 percent (34-for-43) … scored a season-high 10 points to go along with nine boards, three assists and a block versus Hartwick, 2/12 … grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds in a win over Elmira, 2/18 … averaged 3.3 points and 2.4 rebounds … recorded 28 assists and 20 steals.

2003-04: Made an immediate impact, playing in all 25 games … 12 starts … scored exactly 100 points (4.0 per game) … averaged 2.6 rebounds per contest … played just under 21 minutes per game … scored 11 points in a victory over Potsdam, 12/4 … chipped in with 10 points and six boards, helping lead the Tigers to a 56-45 win over conference foe Nazareth, 1/17 … dished out five assists, 12/9 … scored in 20 games.

High School: Named San Marin team MVP in 2003 … also played volleyball and soccer.

Personal: Business Management major … born Oct. 15, 1984 … daughter of Deb and Jeff Newberry.

Coach Buff says: “Jenna is as fit as ever and will lead us at the point. She will be looked upon to do what she did in the second half of last season, which was play great defense, rebound well, and help us offensively.”
