Marisa Williams enters her fourth season as an assistant coach with the RIT women’s basketball staff. She previously coached in the high school ranks in Louisville, Kentucky.
Williams also had a very decorated playing career, first at Wabash Valley Community College in Mount Carmel, Illinois, and later at Marshall University, where she was the teammate of RIT Head Coach Amy Reed.
At Marshall, Williams played from 1998-2000. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2001.
Williams lives in Rochester and works in child protective services.
Coach Reed says: “Marisa is becoming a better coach every day. She is outstanding at working with our guards and has a keen eye for talent on the recruiting trail.”
