Biography

2025-26
• Finished fifth on the squad with 17 points, including second with 11 goals
• First collegiate point was an assist in 6-2 victory over Clarkson (Oct. 18) in Brick City Homecoming victory
• First collegiate goals came in back-to-back wins over Air Force (Oct. 25), 7-3, and host Colgate (Oct. 31), 3-1
• Added a goal to 4-1 win over Mercyhurst (Nov. 7)
• First-career multi-point game with two assists in 3-2 win over Mercyhurst (Nov. 8)
• Scored a goal in 7-3 loss at No. 8 Penn State (Jan. 4)
• Goal proved to be the game-winner in 4-2 win at Niagara (Jan. 23)
• Also had goal in back-to-back ties versus Niagara (Jan. 24), 3-3, and at Mercyhurst (Jan. 30), 2-2, for three-game goal streak
•  Scored a goal in three of final five games of the season, including one in 5-4 OT loss at Holy Cross (Mar. 7) in AHA Quarterfinals game-two

BEFORE RIT
• Scored 31 points (17G/14A) in 42 appearances with the BCHL Prince George Spruce Kings in 2024-25.
• Played two seasons and 94 games with the NAHL Johnstown Tomahawks, including a 40-point (16G/24A) campaign in 45 games in 2023-24
• Graduated from North Catholic High School in 2022
 
PERSONAL
• William Moore is the son of Kerry and Kevin Moore
• Born in Indianapolis, Ind.
• Has two sisters—Abby and Lily
• Father played hockey at Ohio State and Lake Superior State
• Grandfather also played and coached in the minors
• Enjoys golfing and spending time at the lake surfing and wake boarding in his spare time
• Best advice received – “Never get too high or too low because things can change fast.”
• Credits his dad for having the most influence on his playing career, “for all the sacrifices (and long drives) he made throughout my career.”
• Started playing hockey when he was three years old
• Fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Sidney Crosby
• Majoring in business
