Biography

Career: Finished his career fifth all-time at RIT’s Division I level with 110 points … his 44 goals are fourth and 66 assists are seventh all-time … he scored 25 power-play goals, second most in the DI era.
 
2013-14: Led the Tigers in scoring with 29 points on 12 goals and 17 assists … led the team with eight power-play goals … named the Atlantic Hockey Association Player of the Week, Dec. 3 … tallied a season-high three points on a goal and two assists in a 5-2 win over Sacred Heart … scored a highlight reel goal and added an assist in a 7-4 loss to Michigan at Blue Cross Arena as part of Brick City Homecoming and Family Weekend … the goal against Michigan was No. 2 on the NCAA Top 5 Men’s Hockey Plays of the Week, Oct. 15 … scored a pair of goals, including the game-tying tally in a 3-3 draw against Clarkson … had two goals in a 6-0 win over Army … scored game-winning goals in both ends of a weekend sweep over Army … dished out a pair of assists and was a career-best plus-3 in a 3-2 win at Air Force … had 16 points (7-9-16) over a 12 game stretch, Oct. 12 to Nov. 30 … recorded a five-game point-scoring streak, Jan. 31 to Feb. 22 … fired 110 shots on goal, third most on the squad … blocked 20 shots … tallied 20 points on seven goals and 13 assists in 24 AHA contests … Tigers were 7-7-5 when he recorded a point … enjoyed nine multiple-point games.
 
2012-13: Finished second on the team in goals (12) and was third in points (30) despite missing six games due to injury … was fourth nationally among all Division I skaters with 23 power-play points … led RIT with eight power-play goals … catalyst of nation’s second best power-play unit … garnered Atlantic Hockey Association Player of the Week and RIT Male Athlete of the Week honors, Dec. 10 … was the AHA Player of Month in December … had back-to-back three point games in a weekend sweep over Sacred Heart … had two goals and an assist the first game and a goal and two assists in the second contest … scored a power-play goal to go along with two assists in a 4-3 win at Robert Morris … scored power-play goals in back-to-back games twice … led RIT with 10 goals and 25 points in 25 AHA contests … made his first goal of the season count, as it was a game-winning, power-play tally in a 3-0 win at American International … played in his 100th career game on Feb. 23, a 2-1 win over Air Force … fired 87 shots on goal … enjoyed six multiple-point games … had five games with three points … Tigers were 9-8-2 when he recorded at least a point. 2012-13 STATS

2011-12: Earned All-Atlantic Hockey Association second team honors … led RIT in scoring with 32 points on 14 goals and 18 assists in 39 games … led RIT with eight power-play markers … AHA Player of the Month in December … two-time AHA Player of the Week, Dec. 11 and Jan. 16 … named to the Catamount Cup All-Tournament Team … scored his first career hat-trick, all in the third period and added an assist in RIT’s 10-0 win over Sacred Heart … the hat-trick is just the sixth by a Tiger in seven years at the Division I level … scored two goals and added an assist and was plus-2 in a 6-5 win over Holy Cross … scored the game-winning power-play goal in a 2-0 win over the Crusaders the night before … scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-0 win over Ferris State, who advanced to the 2012 NCAA National Championship game … recorded 28 points (12-16-28) in 28 AHA games … led the conference in power-play goals and power-play points … tied fifth in the league with 12 goals … Tigers were 13-5-2 when he recorded at least one point … enjoyed nine multiple-point efforts. 2010-11: Appeared in 35 contests … finished with 19 points (6-13-19) and was plus-6 … made his collegiate debut in the season opening game against St. Cloud State … scored his first collegiate goal in front of a sold out Blue Cross Arena against UMass Lowell … scored a goal and added an assist, while playing at a plus-3 in a 5-3 win over Connecticut … had a career-best two assists against American International … enjoyed a four-game assist and point-scoring streak (2-4-6), Nov. 7 to Nov. 19 ... tallied a goal and an assist at Air Force and Army … scored a power-play goal against Niagara … recorded 18 points (5-13-18) and was plus-9 in 27 AHA contests … enjoyed four multiple-point games … Tigers were 8-4-3 when he recorded a point … won 160-of-316 face-offs taken (50.6 percent). Before RIT: Played the 2009-10 season with the Lindsay Muskies of the Central Canadian Hockey League (CCHL) … recorded 14 goals and 22 assists for 36 points, while playing at a plus-15 in just 25 regular season games last year … added eight points (1-7-8) in six playoff games … recorded at least three points five times, including four goals and an assist in a win over Hamilton on Feb. 5 … opened the year with 18 points over his first 10 games … played for Team Canada East at the 2009 World Junior A Challenge … also played juniors for the Markham Waxers, Aurora Tigers, and Toronto Dixie Beehives … was a junior teammate of current Tiger Mark Cornacchia and former Tiger Chris Tanev in Markham.
