PERSONAL
• Diarmad “Dimo” Patrick DiMurro was born in Suffern, N.Y.
• Son of Patricia and Greg DiMurro, also has one younger brother, Deaglan
• Cousin, Brendan McGovern, played D1 men’s soccer at Binghamton
• Enjoys fly fishing and playing lacrosse in his spare time
• Justiceworx volunteer trip in 2014 – spent 10 days in West Virginia building houses for low-income families
• Favorite athletic moment was playing in the Quebec Peewee International Tournament in front of 15,000 people when he was 12 years old
• Best advice he’s received – “If you go unnoticed as a defenseman, it means you’re playing the right way – don’t try to stand out or do too much. Just play your game to the best of your ability.”
• Parents had the most influence on his playing career - “They sacrificed everything for me to be where I am today. I owe them all the credit in the world.”
• Started playing hockey when he was three years-old
