Jeff Siegel enters his 19th season at RIT in 2024-25, serving as Associate Director of Intercollegiate Athletics since 2016. In this leadership role, he oversees a broad range of responsibilities, including game and event management for RIT's 22 Division III and two Division I sports, facility operations, team travel logistics, and supervising five direct reports. Additionally, Siegel serves as the co-advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and leads special projects and events for the department. Siegel has direct supervisory roles for Women's Lacrosse, Volleyball Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving, and Baseball.
In 2023, Siegel took on the additional role of RIT Title IX Deputy Coordinator, supporting the university’s commitment to providing a harassment- and discrimination-free environment. He also served as a co-facilitator for RIT 365, a first-year student dialogue program, from 2019 to 2020. Siegel currently serves as Chair of the NCAA DIII Women’s Lacrosse Committee (2021-2025) and is a Division III Ambassador for the Collegiate Event & Facility Management Association (CEFMA).
Previously, Siegel held the roles of Assistant Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Ice Hockey Operations and Athletics/Ice Hockey Operations Manager. In these positions, he managed equipment operations, event contracts, student employee supervision, and numerous other operational functions for RIT’s Division I men’s and women’s hockey programs and the athletics department as a whole.
Siegel has been instrumental in spearheading initiatives, including fundraising efforts for causes such as breast cancer awareness, childhood cancer research, autism support, and other charitable organizations. He also helped launch the department’s “Adopt a Family” initiative to support local families during the holiday season.
Siegel’s contributions extend to facility development and management. He has represented the athletics department on design and planning teams for significant projects, including the Gene Polisseni Center, Tiger Stadium, and other state-of-the-art athletic facilities. Additionally, he directs all home Liberty League and NCAA Championship events held on campus and led a university-wide COVID-19 testing initiative.
A 2015 graduate of RIT, Siegel earned a Master of Science in Professional Studies with concentrations in marketing and project management, along with an Advanced Certificate in Project Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management from New England College, where he was named Sport and Recreation Management Student of the Year in 2006.
Jeff resides in Webster, NY, with his wife, Mary Lynn, and their daughters, Avery and Elena.
