Biography

2018-19: Played in all 38 games … scored a goal and added seven assists for eight points … led RIT with 85 blocked shots and 65 penalty minutes … led the Atlantic Hockey Association and was eighth nationally in blocked shots … tied for the AHA lead and was tied for 12th in Division I with 65 penalty minutes … scored his lone goal and was plus-2 in game two of the AHA Quarterfinal series, a 7-3 win over Sacred Heart … had an assist in back-to-back wins over UMass Lowell and Colgate … had assists in three straight games, Dec. 7 to Dec. 15 … dished out an assist, was plus-3 and compiled a career-high total of 17 penalty minutes in an 8-4 win over Niagara … blocked a career-best seven shots in a mid-season home contest versus Sacred Heart … blocked six shots on two occasions … fired 47 shots on goal … had season-high four shots on two occasions … had five assists and 53 penalty minutes in 28 AHA regular season contests … named to the AHA All-Academic team. 2017-18: Played in 30 games … had a goal and seven assists, was plus-2 and tied for second on the team with 64 blocked shots … scored his first collegiate goal, which proved to be the game-winner, in RIT’s 4-0 win over No. 9 Providence … recorded his first multiple-point game, with two assists and was plus-2 in a 6-2 win over Robert Morris … was plus-2 in a game six different times … had an assist and fired a career-best five shots on goal against Mercyhurst … blocked a career-high seven shots against American International … had six blocks in a 6-5 overtime win at Mercyhurst … blocked at least three shots in a game 11 times … recorded seven assists and was plus-3 in 23 Atlantic Hockey contests … Tigers were 4-3-0 when he recorded a point. 2016-17: Appeared in 20 games … became mainstay on the RIT blueline, playing in the final 17 games … recorded his first collegiate point, an assist, and was plus-2 in the regular season finale, a 7-1 win at Mercyhurst … made his collegiate debut in the second game of the regular season vs. Robert Morris … fired 38 shots on goal … had four shots on goal in a game three times … blocked 29 shots … had season-high four blocked shots at Rensselaer … blocked at least one shot in his last 11 games … played in 16 Atlantic Hockey contests. Before RIT: Played the last three seasons with the Sherwood Park Crusaders of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) … was a junior teammate of current Tiger Ryan Kruper … second among Sherwood Park defensemen in scoring with 30 points on seven goals and 23 assists in 54 games during the 2015-16 season … fourth on the team with 143 penalty minutes … team captain … recorded three game-winning goals and a pair of power-play tallies … became the first Sherwood Park defenseman to score a hat-trick in a game … added three goals and two assists in eight playoff games … recorded eight points in 40 games during the 2014-15 season.
