• Calvon "Bootsy" John Boots was born in Salmon, Idaho
• Son of MaryAnn and Justin Boots, also has one older brother, J.R.

• Lists winning the Arctic Winter Games championship in OT as a 16 year-old (“Down, 5-1, came back to tie it with :08 left in front of 2,500 fans”) as his most memorable athletic moment
• Enjoys hunting, fishing and playing golf in his spare time

• Has previously volunteered for the Fairbanks Food Bank
