• Appeared in 97 games in three seasons at Long Island University
• Scored 55 career points on 23 goals and 32 assists, including 21 points (9G/12A) in 2024-25 as the Sharks finished with a 20-12-2 record for the first 20-win campaign in program history.
• Totaled 83 points (29G/54A) in 101 games played with the NAHL Shreveport Mudbugs (2020-22),
• Alternate Captain with 20-goals/35 assists during run to 2021-22 NAHL Robertson Cup
• Played 101 games with the OJHL North York Rangers (2018-20), compiling 67 points (29G/38A)
• Graduated from Bill Crothers Secondary School in 2019 as four-year honor roll achiever
• Also a standout lacrosse player, captained Crothers to a York Region Athletic Association title as senior
 
PERSONAL
• Austin Brimmer was born in Markham, Ontario
• Son of Lynn and Kent Brimmer
• Has two older siblings—Brooke and Blake
• Father played in OHL, winning back-to-back All-Canadian national championships with York University; also earned master's while playing for Ohio University
• Brother Blake played lacrosse with Queens (Ont.) University
• Enjoys playing golf, traveling and building things in his spare time
• Best advice received—“Play every shift as if it was your last. Someone is always watching.”
• Credits his dad for having the most influence on his athletic career, “He got me into hockey and taught me so much about the game through coaching, watching, mentoring, phone calls and conversations at the dinner table.”
• Wears the number seven because his grandfather, dad and brother have all worn it “It’s a family lucky number.”
