Biography
Before RIT: Played two seasons of varsity basketball at Depew High School … led Depew to a Section VI Championship in 2009 … earned All-Erie County Interscholastic Conference second team honors … ECIC All-Star Game MVP … earned All-Tournament team honors at the Depew Christmas Tournament … also played varsity volleyball … was an ECIC Division III first team selection in volleyball.
Personal: Biomedical sciences major … son of Linda and the late Ted Zmich.
Coach McVean says: “Zach is a big, strong freshman who may be a little undersized at the post right now, but has spent a great deal of time in the weight room and is adapting to the college game.”
