Before RIT: Played varsity basketball at Newburgh Free Academy for Head Coach Frank Dinnocenzio ... senior captain ... led team to a Section IX runner-up finish in 2008 ... led Newburgh in shooting percentage from the field ... also was a member of the Newburgh Free Academy crew team that was the #1 public school boat and #6 overall boat in the nation ... earned All-New York State rowing honors.
Personal: New media design major ... son of Shelley and Roger Gray.
Coach McVean says: “Clayton comes from an excellent high school team in Newburgh. He is a strong lefty who has really impressed the coaching staff with his offensive and rebounding skills. With experience, Clayton can mature into a really strong college player.”
